AFTER CARE //

HEALING PROCESS

  • Leave the second skin on for 3 to 5 days. Take it of in the shower preferably.

  • Keep the area clean with water and unscented soap, pat dry with a clean towel. It is important that you keep your tattoo dry, humidity could lead to an infection.

    Wear loose clothing to avoid the tattoo rubbing or sticking to the fabric.

  • Do not apply lotion until the ink has started to dry, which can take a few days depending on your body.

    Avoid soaking the tattoo in the bath, saunas, swimming, until it heals.

    Do not rub, pick or scratch your tattoo.

    After it heals apply sunscreen when expose to sunlight to take care of it long term.

  • Bring valid ID, any reference images or ideas you have, and wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. You can also bring snacks. and whatever you would need while spending a few hours with me.

  • It's advisable to have a free schedule for the day, as the creative process can involve unexpected elements. Avoid making plans immediately after the session to ensure a relaxed experience.

  • Get a good night's sleep, eat a nourishing meal, and avoid alcohol or excessive caffeine. Hydrate well before your appointment.

  • Pain varies based on personal tolerance and the placement of the tattoo. Most describe it as discomfort rather than extreme pain.

  • Prices vary based on size, complexity, and placement. Get a clear estimate before starting, and discuss any potential additional costs.

  • Healing times vary, but generally, it takes 2-4 weeks. Follow the aftercare instructions provided by your artist.

  • One guest is allowed.

  • Communicate openly with your artist. Small adjustments are usually possible, but major changes might require a new appointment.

  • Reputable studios use disposable, single-use needles. Artists often prepare everything in front of you to ensure cleanliness.

  • Protect it from the sun, moisturize, and attend touch-up sessions as needed. Follow your artist's advice for long-term care.
